The church of St. Breaca consists of a Chancel, Nave of 7 bays, transepts, south porch and a stately west tower.
The building is all of 15th Century and was restored during 1890-91 at a cost of £4000.
A 3 stage tower 67 feet high dominates the village and the buttressed porch resembles that of St. Buryan. There are rood stairs on North side.
Wall paintings were uncovered during the restoration the most striking of which features Christ with the trades.
The Earl of Godolphin was buried here in 1178 and there is a notabe modern screen.
